Ronnie Burke is both a Social Worker (MSW), Individual and Couples Therapist and a certified Sex Therapist.
Today Ronnie practices as an Individual, Couple and Sex Therapist in his private clinic. In addition, Ronnie works as a sex therapist for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In his experience working with clients, the use of therapeutic cards was for him a very significant tool assisting in progress and development in growth of the individual, couple and even on a group level.
Ronnie considered the taboo topic of sex, a subject often difficult for clients and often professionals to speak about in the therapeutic space. This inspired him to develop "Let's talk about sex", a unique set of therapeutic cards designed and created to strengthen sexual communication and empower and build sexual confidence and trust.
The set includes topics related to desire, arousal, orgasm, pain, intimacy, infidelity, sexual orientation, gender, fantasies and more. By relating to the images, clients are encouraged to connect to feelings related to their own sexuality which can then be discussed in therapy.
Ronnie saw the importance of sexual expression within the GLBTQ community and created another set "Free to be me " enabling self expression within the LGBTQ community .
A mandatory set for couple and sex therapists and in general to all who wish to explore their sexuality within the community.
